Intelligent Assistance. Defined Authority.

Artificial intelligence creates new possibilities for financial research and technology development. However, intelligence without boundaries introduces new risks.

We are exploring how specialised AI agents can support research, development, validation and operational monitoring. These are areas of exploration, not a claim that an autonomous investment management service is operating.

Specialised responsibilities

Research agents

Investigating market developments, economic relationships and quantitative methods. Outputs need identifiable sources, explicit uncertainty and independent review where appropriate.

Development agents

Supporting software engineering, testing, documentation and quality assurance. Assistance should produce work that can be inspected and validated rather than accepted solely because it was generated.

Monitoring agents

Identifying operational problems, unusual conditions and deviations from expected behaviour. Monitoring concepts should have defined reporting and escalation responsibilities.

Governance

Specialised systems operating within defined responsibilities, permissions and escalation rules. Capability does not automatically create authority to act.

Evidence and human oversight

AI-generated research does not automatically authorise trading activity. Human oversight and evidence-based controls remain central to our architecture.

An assistant may help investigate a question without being permitted to execute its conclusions. Our development direction keeps research, review and execution authority distinct. We do not imply unrestricted autonomous investment management.

“The future of intelligent automation should be measurable, explainable and controlled.”
